Some people need more physiologically and pathologically, Long-term smoking, long-term use of certain drugs (contraceptive, antibiotics, aspirin), love to eat cured and roasted meat, high stress, weight loss dieters, picky eaters are likely to increase the need for vitamin C. If you can’t get enough vitamin C from your diet, you need extra vitamin C.

Long-term intake of large amounts of vitamin C can cause uric acid salt, cysteine salt or oxalate stones. 

Excessive use (more than 1 gram per day) can cause diarrhea, red and bright skin, headache, frequent urination (more than 600 mg per day), nausea and vomiting, stomach cramps. 

Doctors advise that if overdose is suspected or symptoms are present, discontinue the medication immediately and seek medical help.
